A triazole compound represented by general formula (I) or a physiologically acceptable salt or hydrate thereof, and an antifungal agent containing the same as the active ingredient, wherein R<1> represents hydrogen or methyl; R<2> represents methyl, 4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl or (4-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)methyl; R<3> represents hydrogen or methyl; and m and n represent each 0 to 2. These compounds have a remarkably potent antifungal effect and an excellent safety, and are efficacious in treating human or animal superficial or deep-seated mycosis. |
