The valve system for packaging containing pre-packed food requiring subsequent cooking and exhausting of air during cooking comprises on the container closed edge (1) a lid (11). There is an orifice (30) in the side edge of the crimped lid. The orifice extends through a tubular conduit (31) which allows passage of air between the outside and the inside of the container. The free end of the conduit discharges into a bowl (32) containing a small quantity of a thermofusible resin (35). The bowl, which has welding points (38) for fixing it to the container lid, has a spring effect which brings into contact the conduit free end and the bottom of the bowl.
