Digital audio signal coding method

The method of coding each digital audio signal of a number of channels claims to improve the audio quality with the number of bits assigned corresponding to the human psycho-acoustic properties, with reduced quantisation error, and now includes the steps of dividing a digital audio signal into several partial band and outputting the divided partial band signal, followed by assigning a number of bits to each partial band signal according to the magnitude of the human psycho-acoustic properties, and then compensating each part-band signal as a transmitted previously quantised error is received, and quantising the compensated part band signal according to the value of the corresponding bit count and transmitting the accumulative quantised error to the next quantisation and forming a transmission bit stream in packets out of the quantised data.
