The antenna includes a metal frame (2) surrounding a window pane (1). Next to a substantially vertical side (2a) of the frame is a first antenna element (3) with a connection point (4). The element is parallel to the frame's side and its connection point is connected (16) to an output terminal (5a). The distance between the first antenna element and the side to which it is parallel is not less than 10 cm. At least two horizontal, parallel antenna elements (6) are connected at their ends to the first element so that they effectively enclose a maximum possible area (8) of the window pane. The upper and lower horizontal elements are each located a maximum of 25 cm from their respective adjacent frame sides. Also, each horizontal antenna element is at least 1 cm apart.
