Bearing seal for radial rolling bearing

The seal has a first circular ring-shaped protective element which is mounted on the drum axle (7). A second protective element is mounted on the bearing housing (1) or on the lye container (2). The edge of the first element forms with the second element a labyrinth type screen for the radial shaft sealing ring (10). The first element can be a plastics, elastomer or metal disc set between a track ring (9) on the drum axle (7) and a drum flange (8) forming the connection between drum axle and drum. The second element can be formed as a circumferential edge on the lye container.
