The ceiling ducting device has a pressed profile (18) against the channel walls limiting the reverse side (11) of the luggage fitting (13), offset towards the centre of the vehicle. This profile passes round the channel wall (22) against the dividing wall (20) between the service channel (15) and the panel channel (17). The longitudinal edges (23) of this channel wall (22) facing towards the windows have half-round grooves (24), in which a counter-piece (25) can be hung to form a hinge. The two shoulders (26,27) form a sector of the channel wall (31,23) while the remaining channel wall sectors are composed of part of the rib bearing structure (1) and have a coating (34).
