The textile machine with a creel, holding supply yarn bobbins, has the working stations of the machine in groups divided into half-fields (10) along the machine length. The width (b) of each creel (24) is less than the width (B) of a half-field (10). An initial creel (24) together with part of an adjacent creel (24) are in front of each half-field (10), with their bobbins (22,23). The remaining bobbins (22,23) of the adjacent creel (24) are assigned to the next half-field (10).
