A beam interconnecting arrangement for buildings has at least one building element shaped as a prism with an even number of edges, in particular an octagonal prism, whose edges form the beams. The beams that extend across the base or covering surface perpendicularly to each other, for example up to opposite corners of the base or covering surface, may form a grating. The beams (4, 6, 7), in particular those arranged on the base or covering surface, are provided at their connecting or joining points (nodes) with joining plates (20, 21; 30, 31; 34, 35; 38, 39; 50, 53) that can be coupled to each other by means of connecting elements (22, 26, 27, 33, 36, 42) that can be interconnected for example in the manner of a key and lock, recess and pin or the like. Screws that extend through bores in the joining plates, welds, rivets or the like are provided to definitively assemble the joining plates by frictional engagement. |
