Separator for mixts. of liquids of different densities

Appts. for separating mixed liquids which have densities which differ by at least 5%, and esp. for cleaning industrial process fluids, has a container (1) with an inlet (6) for the liquid mixture; a low-level outlet (16) for the denser liquid; and a high-level outlet (12) for the less dense liquid; and a plate separator (11) in which plates are stacked parallel and apart, where the novelties are that the plate separator (11) is at an angle of 30-60 deg to the floor of the container (1). The liquid enters the separator (11) at its lower end (19) and exits at the upper end (20); and oxygen is blown through a nozzle (10) into the liquid mixture before it enters the separator (11).
