OPTICAL FILTERING DEVICE AND USE THEREOF IN A LIQUID CRYSTAL PROJECTOR

An optical filtering device comprising a dichroic splitter (MD) in the path of a light beam to be processed, as well as a holographic filtering device (HCC) arranged in series with the splitter (MD) in the path of the same beam. The holographic device (HCC) is movable to adjust the angle of incidence of the beam and thus adjust its filtering wavelength range. Said device is useful for improving the chromatic selectivity of a filtering device and in colour display systems.
