The method involves transversely and continuously conveying sections of tubing. The end of the tubular sections, after first being opened by a suction device, are pulled into an intermediate position by two rotary driven opening appliances inserted into the tube end. In order to give a final shaping to the open bag or sack base, the rotary draw-out appliances have an aligning appliance inserted into the partly open base, and synchronously running with the tube-section during the drawing-out process. The aligning and drawing-out appliances operate on a vertical plane of the tube-section end being drawn out to form the open base. |
