PURPOSE:To add annexed information only to a page satisfying a prescribed condition to output the page. CONSTITUTION:In the case of outputting document data stored in a document data storing means 3 to a printer 9, a header retrieving means 7 retrieves whether a header is set up in the outputted document data by a header indicating means 4 or not and sends a retrieved result to an annexed information addition judging means 8. When the header is not set up based upon the sent retrieved result, the means 8 judges the necessity of addition of annexed information to the output data and an annexed information output means 6 adds annexed information such as a page number and a heading and footing. When no index is set up, the unnecessity of addition of annexed information to the output data is judged and the addition of annexed information by the means 6 is inhibited. |
