摘要	PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter with a patternwise formed light shielding film having low reflecting property and high light shielding property. CONSTITUTION:A transparent colored layer 3, concretely a red, green and blue transparent colored layer 3R, 3G, 3B is formed at picture element parts on a transparent substrate 1 and a light shielding film 2 is formed in each gap between the picture elements. This light shielding film 2 consists of a low reflection thin film layer made of a black ITO film, an acid-proof middle layer and a plating layer of metal Ni having high light shielding property.
