PURPOSE:To provide a charger, wherein a plurality of kinds of battery packs can be charged by a single charger, which is economical rather than preparing a battery pack exclusive use charger with small setting space only required to be capable of instantaneously corresponding to a different battery pack. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal unit 2, mountable/demountable relating to a charger main unit 1, is mounted F the charger main unit, charger terminals 8a, 8b and connectors 11a, 11b, provided in the terminal unit 2, are electrically connected to connection parts 6a, 6b of the charger main unit 1. By mounting a battery pack 30 on an upper part of this terminal unit 2, battery terminals 33a, 33b, provided in the battery pack 30, are brought into contact with the charger terminals 8a, 8b, consequently, to charge the battery pack 30. |
