<p>PURPOSE:To avoid outage of all the communication system lines due to a fault in a clock signal reception specific line by selecting one of plural start lines and taking synchronization with the clock signal of the line. CONSTITUTION:In response to sequential transition of digital lines A, B to be started, a control section 1-1 controls a switch 1-8 or 1-9 to select a line and the clock signal is inputted to a subordinate synchronization circuit 1-4 to be synchronous with a clock signal of the start line. Thus, disabled communication of all lines due to a fault in a clock signal reception specific line is avoided. Furthermore, when all the lines are stopped, power is saved by stopping drivers/receivers 1-2, 1-5 and separation circuits 1-3, 1-6.</p> |
