PURPOSE:To secure the stable communication and the saving of power consumption of a radio data communication equipment. CONSTITUTION:An opposite station sends a re-transmission request signal upon a failure in the reception of data. Upon the receipt of the re-transmission request signal from the opposite station, a gain increase command is given to again control circuit 80. The gain of a power amplifier circuit 4 is increased according to the gain increase command to increase transmission output power thereby making the communication stable. Furthermore, after the communication is made stable and the re-transmission request signal is not received over a prescribed time, a timer circuit 90 expires and provides the output of a gain decrease command to the gain control circuit 80. The gain of the power amplifier circuit 4 is reduced according to the gain decrease command to reduce the transmission output power thereby reducing the power consumption. |
