PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic capacitor using a dielectric layer of a core-shell construction, which can exhibit favorable characteristics of the capacitor, by a method wherein the degree of a solid solution between dielectric ceramic particles and an additional matter constituting a shell layer is controlled moderately and stably. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a ceramic capacitor having a dielectric layer of a core-shell construction that a shell layer consisting of an additional matter of a specific inductive capacity lower than that of dielectric ceramics is formed on the periphery of a core consisting of dielectric ceramic particles, is manufactured, ceramic particles having a specific surface area of 1.0 to 5.0m<2>/9 are used. |
