PURPOSE:To prevent an equipment from being damaged by preventing an initializing operation from being repeated more when a watchdog timer(WDT) causes time-out because of the runaway of a CPU and the initializing operation is repeated over a fixed limitation. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 33 runs away, no reset pulse is outputted, a WDT 37 causes time-out and the reset operation of the CPU 33 is performed. However, the number of times of the time-out of the WDT 37 and the reset operation of the CPU 33 is counted and when this value reaches the prescribed number of times, the equipment is turned to an operation disabled state. |
