<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the connecting structure between a high pressure gas branch pipe and a high pressure gas main pipe by setting the tip shape of the insert part of a valve joint into such shape that the cross section of a groove between the insert part and the fitting hole of the high pressure gas main pipe is constant to the top part and the whole periphery of the side face. CONSTITUTION:An insert part 11 to protrude into a high pressure gas main pipe 2 is formed at the tip part, positioned on the connected side to the high pressure gas main pipe 2, of a valve joint 1. A fitting hole 21 that can insert the insert part 11 of the valve joint 1 is formed at the connecting place of a high pressure gas branch pipe 3 in the high pressure gas main pipe 2. The tip shape of the insert part 11 is set into such shape that groove cross section is constant to the top part and the whole periphery of the side face at the time of welding between the fitting hole 21 of the high pressure gas main pipe 2 and the insert part 11 of the valve joint 1. After inserting the insert part 11 of the valve joint 1 into the fitting hole 21 of the high pressure gas main pipe 2, the periphery of the insert part 11 is welded, but at that time, there is only one welded place instead of two places in a conventional way, and the welding work can also be facilitated.</p> |
