<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for efficiently replacing only the deteriorated deformed pipes of pipe lines in the ground. CONSTITUTION:A minimum range, including a joint part between straight pipes 2A, 2B and deteriorated deformed pipes in an existing pipe line, is exposed by digging. The pipes, engaged with each other, are disengaged to remove the deformed pipe, and a press ring, rubber ring and both insertion joint rings 4 are externally fitted from a spigot 21A of the exposed straight pipe. The press ring and rubber ring are externally fitted respectively from both spigots of a new deformed pipe 1 forming both ends of both spigots 11A, 11B. The spigot 11B is inserted to the straight pipe socket 2B, and both the inserting joint rings are slid so as to stride the straight pipe spigot 2A opposed to the spigot 11A in an opposite side, to cover the both in common. When determined positioning, the press ring and flange opposed by interposing the rubber ring are water-tightly fastened. In this way, a digging range is decreased smaller than the conventional technique. A number of members used is decreased. Saving labor at the time of jointing a member, relaxing necessity for skilled technique, improving reliability of a pipe line function after replacement, reducing trouble to local people based on shortening a construction term, etc., are advantages.</p> |
