PURPOSE:To provide a camera capable of focusing with high accuracy even at an open aperture or a small stop value. CONSTITUTION:In the camera constituted so as to change the focusing position of a photographic lens in accordance with a stop value by taking consideration that a position where the aberration of the photographic lens is minimum is made different with the stop value, a minimum Av value calculating part 4 calculates the minimum Av value of the waveform of an aperture based on the outputs of a photometry part 1 and a firm sensitivity detecting part 2, an extending quantity calculating part 5 calculating the extending quantity of the photographic lens required for focusing based on the minimum Av value together with a range-finding part 3 and a lens control part 6 extends the photographic lens 7. |
