SYSTEM AND MODULE FOR SOLAR POWER GENERATION

PURPOSE:To obtain a solar power generation system comprising solar cells in which the power generation efficiency is enhanced by varying the output current of the solar cells. CONSTITUTION:In the solar power generation system, the output current of a solar cell 1 is varied sinusoidally by turning a switch 10 ON/OFF repeatedly. In this regard, the variation period of output current from the solar cell 1 is set longer that the CR time constant of an electric circuit including the solar cell 1 but shorter than the annihilation time of electron carrier in the photocurrent generation layer of the solar cell 1. This constitution increases the average value of output voltage as compared with DC operation and enhances the power generation efficiency while reducing high frequency noise.
