<p>This invention relates to compounds of formula (I), wherein A is N or -CT6; B is -NR1R2, -CR1R2R11, - C(=CR2R12)R1, -NHCHR1R2, - OCHR1R2, -SCHR1R2, -CHR2OR12, -CHR2SR12, -C(S)R1 or -C(O)R1. The compounds show corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) antagonist activity. CFR antagonists are believed to be effective in the treatment of a wide range of stress-related illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, headache, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory diseases, immune suppressin, Alzheimer's disease, gastrointestinal diseases, anorexia nervosa, hemmorrhagic stress, drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms, drug addiction and infertility.</p> |
