<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet carrier capable of shortening the dropping time of sheet material, for shortening an image forming time by providing a loading surface receiving/supporting a dropped sheet material from below and receiving the dropped sheet material on the loading surface for making the dropping speed of the dropped sheet material fast. CONSTITUTION:This sheet feeder is provided with a butting surface 33a against which the leading edge of the sheet material P ejected from an ejecting means 31 collides, the loading surface 32a receiving and supporting the dropped sheet material P from below, a feeding means 50 sequentially separating/feeding the sheet materials P loaded on the loading surface 32a from the lowermost one and a drop accelerating means making the dropping speed of the material P dropped toward the loading surface 32a fast. Then, the dropping speed of the dropped sheet material P can be made fast by the drop accelerating means, so that the dropping time until the sheet material P reaches the loading surface 32a or the time until the material P drops on the upper surface of the preceding material P loaded on the loading surface 32a can be shorten.</p> |
