The feeder comprises a perforated plate (8) for retaining the bristle tufts (2) and aligned positioning of pressure pins (9) and retaining holes in a form plate (3). Within the latter are tuft retaining holes (7) of the through type. For comparting of the tufts, the retaining holes have a reduced cross-section w.r.t that of the holes (10) of the perforated plate. The pressure pins can be positioned in several settings and, with the pins retracted, there is a fitting position and a support at the tuft ends away from the shaping bores of an injection mould.
