The door wing (2) is supported movable to-and-fro on a support roller (30a) of a support (3). Each support (3) is guided in the longitudinal direction of the door wing movably on the lower end (4) of same. One holder unit (33) is provided in the entrance (6) for each support (3) and interacts with each support so that when closing the sliding door the support is positioned in the entrance and when opening the door the support is moved out of the entrance. The support has at least two support rollers mounted one behind the other. The lower end of the door wing can have at least one rail and the support has at least one supporting roller which runs on the rail and on which the support hangs.
