The tool comprises a mounting (1) for coupling to a machine-tool spindle. There is a clamping chuck (2) for a tool shank (5). Its cutter (3,4) is at the chuck end face. Clamps can be provided at intervals round the periphery, and the cutter is secured to one of them, typically on the side towards an adjacent clamps. It can be secured in place by a spring clamping arm. Clamping can be performed by a hydraulically-actuated sleeve, or by a bar. <IMAGE> |
