A dryer for goods (1), preferably batches (1') of wood, comprises a fan/heater unit (6) and a platform (3) together with the goods (1, 1') vapour tight enclosed under drying by an inflated film tube (2). Part loads (4) of the plateform (3) are transferred via platform supports (33) and via film parts (22) to exterior plinths (5). By means (7, 71, 72) the film tube (2) is removed to a safe place under unloading/reloading the goods (1, 1').
