The invention relates to a panel that comprises a surface layer (1) made of stone material, a pressure resistant support layer (2) mounted with glue substance on one surface of the surface layer and a tension resistant surface layer (3) mounted with glue substance on the surface of the support layer. In order to obtain a panel with advantageous production costs, the pressure resistant support layer (2) is made of wood material that is arranged in such a manner that the grain is essentially perpendicular to the plane of the layer (1) made of stone material. |
