Mouth-operated pointer for computer. This is of special application for use as a peripheral of the mouse type, enabling the movement of a cursor on a computer screen; its purpose is to enable physically handicapped persons unable to use their upper limbs to execute mouse functions. It has an ergonomic mouthpiece 1 coupled onto a shaft 2 which tilts around a ball-and-socket joint 7 which has been fitted with a pin 8 whose direction of movement is detected by means of photodiodes 10 and whose angle is a function of the light detected by a photoresistor 14, this signal being converted into a variation in the speed of the cursor which depends on the inclination of the shaft 5, all of it by means of an electronic circuit 15. <IMAGE>
