The machine has a swinging arm (20) horizontally protruding from a support column (12). The arm has an upwards and downwards freely slidable vertical guide, and a facility for load relief of a mounted component. On the lower end of the guide is attached an adaptor device (84) for the detachable fitting of guide components, protection components and pressure components. The adaptor device has a transverse guide block (64) carrying a horizontally freely slidable support rod (68) for the component to be mounted. An additional horizontal telescopic arm is provided on the support column and is independent of the swinging arm. The telescopic arm has a vertical adjustable clamp rod on its free end for holding a guiding device on the machine bed (10).
