Fitting tool for sealing lip of motor vehicle door

The seal comprises a lip and a body with sealing portion fitting over a flange on a trim strip in the exact position and has guides for components pressing the body into place. Two successive pressure rollers (7,8) in the travel direction run along the edge of the flange on the lip, so as to press the body (14) sideways onto the flange of the strip (2), and work with holding rollers (9,10) at right angles to them. A further roller (11) parallel to the holding rollers presses the lip. The tool can travel on fixed guide rails (3) in a mounting and via guide rollers (6.1,6.2) bearing against top, bottom and side faces on the rails.
