<p>An attachment (200) for a camera dolly arm (18) includes an attitude control system for maintaining a camera platform (22) at a uniform attitude as the arm (18) is raised and lowered. The attitude control system advantageously includes a lower disk (54) joined to an upper disk (56) by leveling rods (60). A head (42) is pivotally mounted on a frame (58) between two support plates (50, 115) which attach to the upper end of the dolly arm (18). The attachment (200) may be used as a riser to elevate the camera platform (22). The attachment (200) may also be used as an extension of the camera dolly arm, to increase the range of arm travel.</p> |
