The proposed method involves the inflation using gas of gas-impermeable casings (4) arranged around the ejection seat. The ejection seat comprises a seat (1) arranged in such a way that it can be propelled in space by a motor (2), a cylinder (3) filled with compressed gas and connected to the gas-impermeable casings (4) which can alter their volume and form a parachute system.
