The label-equipped ply includes a ply having a label die-cut in it and constituting only a portion of the area of the ply. The ply has front and back surfaces, pressure sensitive adhesive at least over the portion area of the back surface, imaging on the front surface. A release backer is adhered to the back surface of the ply and having an exposed face, the backer carrying reverse orientation data imaging on the exposed face and composed of a material capable of being read through the backer, which is translucent.
