MERCHANDISE DISPLAY SIMULATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide a merchandise display simulation system capable of quickly and easily obtaining an accurate merchandise layout and high quality printing output at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A candidate extraction means 16 and a merchandise selection means 17 selects merchandise data from a storage means 11 based on instruction data supplied from an instruction input means 12. Pictures expressed by picture data for display corresponding to the selected merchandise data are displayed on a display device where the picture of a display shelf is displayed. When the order of the pictures of merchandise on the display device is changed by a frame preparation means 18 and a frame moving means 19, a rearrangement means 24 rearranges the merchandise data similarly. Also, a tentative printing means 26 prints the picture of the display shelf and the pictures of the merchandise expressed by the original picture data of high resolution so as to satisfy the merchandise layout expressed by the pictures displayed at the display device.
