<p>PURPOSE:To prevent degradation in transfer efficiency, to improve cleanability to spherical toners and to assure image formation stable over a long period of time by using the spherical toners produced by a dispersion polymn. method. CONSTITUTION:Respective toner images of black, cyan, magenta and yellow are successively formed on a photoreceptor 1 at the time of forming color images. The toner images of the respective colors are successively aligned and transferred on the same plane on an intermediate transfer belt 2, by which the belt transfer images superposed with four colors are formed. The belt transfer images superposed with four colors are thereafter transferred simultaneously onto transfer paper. The spherical toners having a volume average grain size 7.5mum are used as the toners. The spherical toners are produced by subjecting the styrene acryl particles grown by the dispersion polymn. method to stages of fixing, polarity controlling and external additive mixing. The zinc stearate to be added as the external additive to the spherical toners improves the cleanability of the toners themselves.</p> |
