PURPOSE:To provide a hand towel having voluminous feeling and improved touch by inserting a heat fusion fiber web between at least two cellulose nonwoven fabrics, and heat-pressing them. CONSTITUTION:A heat fusion fiber web is inserted between at least two cellulose nonwoven fabrics, and they are heat-pressed. A cuprammonium long-fiber nonwoven fabric has good touch in particular for the cellulose nonwoven fabric, and the METSUKE of the nonwoven fabric is preferably set to 15-80g/m<2>. The single constituent type made of polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyester or the composite constituent type made of polyolefin, polyester, nylon, and vinyl chloride is used for the heat fusion fiber web, for example, and the composite constituent type heat fusion fiber having the melting point of 96-150 C, the monophyletic denier of 0.5-10 denier, and the METSUKE (weight/unit area) of 15-30g/m<2> is preferable in view of the voluminous feeling, handle or drape, and touch. The heat pressing is applied between a pair of heat rollers or by a heat press. |
