<p>PURPOSE:To extent the operation time by providing a track ball means with >=1 power generator which generates electric power by the rotation of a ball. CONSTITUTION:The power generator 20 is provided across the ball 2 at right angles while pressed against the ball 2. Further, the power generator 20 needs to be fitted where it never interferes with a rotary encoder 6, the power generator 20 and rotary encoder 6 are installed opposite each other across the ball 2, and two power generators 20 are fitted mutually at right angles when viewed from the center of the ball 2. Then the dynamo type power generator 20 generates an AC voltage by the rotation of the ball 2, and the AC voltage is rectified by a rectifying circuit into a DC voltage, which is boosted by a boosting circuit up to a voltage high enough to operate a main circuit, so that the voltage is outputted to a power supply circuit. The power supply circuit not only makes the voltage from a battery constant and supplies it to a track ball means, the main circuit, a display, etc., but also has a charging function and a function for stopping power supply.</p> |
