PURPOSE:To provide a developing device capable of obtaining an excellent image without reduction in a density by preventing a developer to be primarily recovered after development from being carried to a developing region again. CONSTITUTION:The developing device is provided with a developing roll 2 composed of a developing sleeve 2b whose periphery is rotated/driven and a magnet roll 2a fixed/supported inside the sleeve 2b, a developer supplying member 4 composed of a rotary body 4a having a blade projected from the periphery and a magnet body 4b fixed/supported inside the rotary body 4a in a position opposite to the developing roll 2, two magnetic poles A and B which are adjacent each other in the circumferentail direction and have the same polarity on the upstream and downstream sides in the positions opposite to the developer supplying member 4 on the magnet roll 2a and two magnetic poles C and D having a polarity different from the magnetic poles A and B in the positions opposite thereto on the magnet body 4b. Moreover, the rotary body 4a and the developing sleeve 2b rotated/driven to move their peripheries in the direction opposite to the facing positions. Thus, the reception and delivery of the developer can be smoothly performed between the developer supplying member 4 and the developing roll 2. |
