PURPOSE:To provide a spectrum suppression device and its method in which the transmission quality is improved and the size is made small. CONSTITUTION:A hybrid circuit 10 divides an IF reception signal S into two, a BPF 20 is used to extract a signal C not required for other station and a demodulation circuit 30 mixes the undesired signal C and a local oscillation signal V1(V2) oscillated from a local oscillator 34 for the demodulation. Then a phase inversion circuit 60 is used to mix the demodulation signal C1(C2) with a local oscillation signal V2(V1) oscillated from the local oscillator 34 to generate an undesired signal C' whose phase is inverted to that of the undesired signal C through modulation processing and a hybrid circuit 70 synthesizes the undesired signal C' of the inverse phase with other IF reception signal S. |
