<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thermal fuse in order to suppress an abnormal rise in temperature caused by loosening of an electric cord, such as a power line, connected with a terminal block and prevent an accident related thereto, make the thermal fuse easy to assemble, and ensure its effective performance and its functioning with improved reliability. CONSTITUTION:The subject relates to an air conditioner composed of an indoor apparatus and an outdoor apparatus. In the indoor apparatus there are provided a first terminal block 7 which is used in the connection using power lines ACL1, ACL2, ACL3 between the A.C. power source and a power relay, a second terminal block 8 which is used in the connection using power lines between the power relay and the outdoor apparatus, and a space 9 which intervenes between the first terminal block and the second terminal block. Furthermore, a thermal fuse 12 is provided, which is placed in the space mentioned above and which, when exposed to heat of over a specific temperature, melts to shut off power to the outdoor apparatus.</p> |
