The machine consists of a drilling head (6) and a tool with a guide (3) for drilling holes at an acute angle to the tunnel's axis, projecting from the machine's outer shield (2). The angular drilling tool is pivoted and supported by an assembly (8), and has an arm (14) which can extend it radially. Between the angular drilling tool and its guide (3) there is an air-lock (5) which can be opened or closed or linked to an injector nozzle, e.g. for consolidating rocks.
