Motor vehicle vibrating system and controller - relies on determination of system transfer function to maintain constant load imposed by longitudinal vibrator during operation of vertical vibrators

The vibrating system comprises two vibrators (14,15) for vibrating vertically the rear (5) and front (2) axles, respectively, of a motorcycle (1). A third vibrator (16) is arranged to vibrate either front or back axle in a longitudinal direction whilst a reactive jig limits the motion of the other axle in this direction. A load detector is mounted on the vibrating rod through which the third vibrator applies its vibration and senses the load imposed. During the operation of the first and second vibrators, a controller controls the third vibrator so that the load detected is of a constant value. The method used for controlling the system relies on the determination of the transfer function.
