Sealed and locking oil filler funnel for motor vehicle engine

The funnel consists of a truncated conical section (1) between a cylinder (2) at its larger end, and a ribbed cylinder (3) at its smaller end which is shaped to lock onto the oil filler neck on a vehicle engine. The locking element comprises an interchangeable tongue (7) with lugs (8,9), held in place by a washer (10) and circlip (11) and made in sizes to suit different types of engines. A seal ring (6) is provided between the funnel and the tongue.
