PURPOSE:To eliminate pixel deviation on a large screen by disposing oppositely a transparent plate on a synthesizing dichroic mirror and equalizing the numbers of transmission that three color beams of red, green and blue transmit through the transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a blue color beam 5, after it transmits through the synthesizing dichroic mirror 13, it transmits through the transparent plate 33, and is reflected by the synthesizing dichroic mirror 17 to be expanded and displayed on the large screen 20 through a projection optical system 19. Then, the blue color beam 5 transmits through the transparent plate twice in all. On the other hand, in the case of a red color beam 10, after it transmits through the transparent plate 33, it is reflected by the synthesizing dichroic mirror 13, and transmits through the transparent plate 33 again and is reflected by the synthesizing dichroic mirror 17, and transmits through the transparent plate twice in all. Similarly, in the case of a green color beam, it transmits through the transparent plate 34 and the synthesizing dichroic mirror 17 twice in all, and the numbers of transmission of three colors are equalized also. |
