PURPOSE:To reduce the using memory area by reading blocks from a first area and a buffer area in accordance with the read address to transfer them to a rotating device and transferring blocks after rotation processing to the buffer area and a second area in accordance with the write address. CONSTITUTION:An original picture is divided into rectangular blocks in accordance with a predeterminate division ratio, and they are rotated and are transferred to predeterminate transfer destinations. A block B1 is rotated 90 deg. and is transferred to the area starting with address A1, and a block B2 is rotated 0 deg. and is transferred to the area starting with address A2, and blocks B3, B4. ana as are rotated at 90 deg. and are transferred to areas starting with addresses A3, A4, and A5 respectively. Finally, the block B2 saved in the area starting with address A2, namely, the buffer area is rotated 90 deg. and is transferred to the area starting with address A6. A 90 deg. rotated picture is obtained by these processings. |
