PURPOSE:To provide a radio calling receiver capable of obtaining excellent reception sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is provided with a variable capacitive element 21 for varying the frequency of reference clock signals to be generated by a control voltage, list information for stipulating the relation of the value of the control voltage to be applied to the variable capacitive element 21 and a reference clock signal frequency value generated by a reference clock signal generation circuit 9A at the time, a judgement means 8A for judging whether or not a reference clock signal frequency in the list information generates reception interference in a reception means 2 and a control voltage generation means 24 for setting the control voltage corresponding to the reference clock signal frequency judged as not generating the reception interference by the judgement means 8A and applying it to the variable capacitive element 21.
