DEVICE FOR EXTRACTING VARIATION TENDENCY OF NUMERICAL DATA

PURPOSE:To extract the variation tendency of numerical data corresponding to a dependent variable by evaluating a range of numerical data-corresponding to a variation concept from numerical data acquired from a data base based upon a variation concept dictionary and a judgment reference table. CONSTITUTION:A dependent variable acquiring means 3 acquires numerical data from a numerical data base 1 for storing numerical data corresponding to a dependent variable to be changed in accordance with a change in an independent variable. A variation inclination extracting means 4 evaluates variation while referring to the variation concept dictionary 2 for storing the variation concept of the numerical data acquired by the means 3 and the judgment reference table to be a range storing means and extracts plural groups of numerical data adaptable to a variation concept model stored in the dictionary 2. The variation inclination of the extracted groups is determined and the processing is repeated until a new variation concept can not be extracted from all numerical data. Thereby, when variation is different even in the same variation tendency, its numerical data can be extracted as an independent group.
