PROGRAM RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To allow an information server to serve an interactive screen depending on a served information program to an information receiver or to allow the information receiver to implement interactive operation depending on the information service program. CONSTITUTION:A signal reception section 11 receives a signal from a program transmission section 10 multiplexing an information service program onto data used to command configration of an interactive screen and sending the multiplexed data. A signal demultiplexer section 12 demultiplexes the signal received by the signal reception section 11 into the information service program and interactive screen configuration command data. An interactive screen generating section 14 decodes a command in the interactive screen configuration command data demultiplexed by the signal demultiplexer section 12 and generates an interactive screen by combining basic display elements stored in a storage section 13 storing basic display elements used to configure the interactive screen.
